Karachi: US woman ready to return, son labels her mentally unstable

An US woman, Onijah Andrew Robinson says she is ready to return to her country.   "I am currently short on money," says Robinson in a video interview. "I am ready to return to my country, and please provide me a ticket to New York," she added. Earlier a statement from the son of the American woman who arrived in Pakistan after falling in love with a young man from Karachi has surfaced. In the statement, the son describes his mother as mentally ill and claims that her ability to think and reason is impaired, leading to her mental state becoming unstable. The son of American woman, Robinson, who is currently in the US, stated that his mother is mentally unwell and her judgment is affected. He also mentioned that his mother had traveled to Pakistan to meet a man and his family. She planning to return to the US after two weeks. However, she failed to come back as planned. The son further stated that both he and his brother had made numerous attempts to convince their mother to return, even booking her return ticket. Despite their efforts, she refused to agree to come back. It is worth noting that Onijah Andrew Robinson, an African-American woman, traveled to Pakistan in October after falling in love with a 19-year-old boy from Karachi. She has been in the country ever since, claiming to be married to the Pakistani man, saying that their marriage took place online.
